Atalaya questions

What is Atalaya?

Uptime monitor with checks from multiple regions and a public status page. It’s an open-source, self-hosted alternative to UptimeRobot. It runs on Cloudflare Workers in your own account.

What does Atalaya set up in my Cloudflare account?

D1 database, Durable Objects and Cron trigger. They are created in your account, so the data stays yours.

How do I deploy Atalaya?

It installs from the command line. Follow the steps in the dcarrillo/atalaya README.

Is Atalaya free and open source?

Yes. It’s published under the Apache-2.0 licence. Running it uses your own Cloudflare account, and small setups usually fit in the free plan.

How do I update Atalaya?

Pull from the original repository and redeploy: add https://github.com/dcarrillo/atalaya.git as an upstream remote, run git pull upstream main, then npx wrangler deploy.
