What is saasmail?

Shared inbox that groups marketing, transactional and support email into one timeline per customer. It’s an open-source, self-hosted alternative to Front. It runs on Cloudflare Workers in your own account.

What does saasmail set up in my Cloudflare account?

D1 database, R2 bucket, Durable Objects, Queues and Cron trigger. They are created in your account, so the data stays yours.

How do I deploy saasmail?

It installs from the command line. Follow the steps in the choyiny/saasmail README.

Is saasmail free and open source?

Yes. It’s published under the Apache-2.0 licence. Running it uses your own Cloudflare account, and small setups usually fit in the free plan.

How do I update saasmail?

Pull from the original repository and redeploy: add https://github.com/choyiny/saasmail.git as an upstream remote, run git pull upstream main, then npx wrangler deploy.
