EmailFlare questions

What is EmailFlare?

Transactional email API with templates and domain management, plus a team inbox and CRM. It’s an open-source, self-hosted alternative to SendGrid. It runs on Cloudflare Workers in your own account.

What does EmailFlare set up in my Cloudflare account?

D1 database, KV namespace, R2 bucket, Durable Objects, Queues and Cron trigger. They are created in your account, so the data stays yours.

How do I deploy EmailFlare?

It installs from the command line. Follow the steps in the 0xdps/emailflare README.

Is EmailFlare free and open source?

Yes. It’s published under the MIT licence. Running it uses your own Cloudflare account, and small setups usually fit in the free plan.

How do I update EmailFlare?

Pull from the original repository and redeploy: add https://github.com/0xdps/emailflare.git as an upstream remote, run git pull upstream trunk, then npx wrangler deploy.
